This weekend we have already had lots of fun in the sun. We set up our $5 slip n slide yesterday and even I went for a ride on it. Don't let the pictures fool you though, Cody is not that much of a water boy. He would only go on the slip n slide when the jets were pointed away from the slide so that he wouldn't get sprinkled on. I kept asking him what he was so afraid of, it's only water and he would just say he didn't know he was just so scared. Strange as it is to me, I think he has unfortunately got the Davis "afraid of water" gene. I am now not looking forward to swimming lessons that start June 1st. If Cody ends up as a adult that doesn't know how to swim, it will not be from a lack of his mother trying!
Jake had fun in the water, he also didn't like it much when it would squirt in his face. He just enjoyed sitting and splashing in the water.
